Andy joined HM Customs and Excise in 1974, a year after the introduction of VAT; he worked in a number of rolls including investigations and accounts advisory officer nationally. He left in 1987 to work for a top 4 accountancy practice, culminating in a directorship before leaving to create his own VAT practice in 2001.

Andy has over 30 years experience of VAT and has worked in all aspects of the tax both nationally and internationally.
